The Colonial Company and City Loft Corporation wanted to create a new urbanism development in eastern Montgomery.

The emphasis of Hampstead is to draw the inhabitants together. Features such as outdoor seating areas, bocce courts, fountains and green spaces work with the buildings to offer pedestrians a comfortable environment.
